TWIN SEEDS is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with our obligations as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation. The current data protection law is found in the Dutch Data Protection Act 

This privacy policy explains what information TWIN SEEDS collects about you and how it will be used. 

TWIN SEEDS promises to respect any personal data you share with us, or that we get from other organisations, and to keep it safe. We aim to be clear when we collect your data and not do anything you wouldn’t reasonably expect.

Data protection is a particularly high priority for the management of a European project. The webpages of the TWIN SEEDS project can be used without having to specify any personal data. The TWIN SEEDS project is co-funded by the European Commission, therefore the EU data processing law applies. The data you provide will be used in compliance with the data protection principles described in Regulation (EC) 2016/679, namely the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Who we share your data with 

We always ensure that we have the necessary controls in place to protect the personal data you provide us with. 

If requested we may need to supply your information to the police, regulatory bodies or legal advisors. 

We will not share your data with any other third parties unless you have given your explicit consent for us to do so. 

How long we retain your data 

We will retain personal information about you for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice and within the scope of the TWIN SEEDS project for no longer than two years after project end (September 2025), unless a longer retention period is required by law and/or regulations. The User can always request that the Data Controller suspend or remove the data. 

What rights you have over your data 

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. You also have the right to request that we erase any personal information we hold, where we have no compelling reason to continue processing this data. 

If you wish to request this information please contact contact@changingmarkets.org. We will require you to provide two forms of identification. Once we have received your information request and your identification we will respond within one month. 

Changes To This Privacy Policy 

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. 

We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy. 

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
